The IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) announced that the winner of the IEEE ITSS Best Practice Award for Engineers for 2009 is Prof. Fei-Yue Wang, deputy director of Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA) in the 12th International IEEE Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 09), St. Louis, USA. Prof. Fei-Yue Wang is elected for his significant contribution to the research, development, and applications of intelligent transportation systems.
Two people around the world have won the IEEE ITSS Best Practice Award since it was firstly established in 2005. Prof. Fei-Yue Wang also won an outstanding service award to recognize his effort and leadership in promoting research of intelligent transportation systems and in serving the professional society.
