Academic Achievements

 

   Yihong Wu has published more than 40 papers and applied 2 patents. Bracket algebra is the basic algebraic tool of studying projective geometric invariant, by which projective properties can be expressed in a coordinate-free way. She has been applying bracket algebra to solve the degeneracy problems in 3D computer vision. She studies robust methods of camera parameter estimations. Besides, stable camera tracking system from video in real time is being explored. Her published works were reviewed as “a real contribution”, “more promising”, “high quality”, “offers a practical guideline”, “very elegant”, “more flexible”, et al.
