Qinglai Weireceived the B.S. degree in automation, the M.S. degree in control theory and control engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering, from the Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2002 and 2009, respectively. From 2009–2011, he was a postdoctoral fellow with The State Key Laboratory of Management and Control for Complex Systems, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.He is currently an associate professor of the institute. His foundations include National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Natural Science Foundation and enterprise projects. He has published 40 EI and SCI papers. His research interests include data-based control, adaptive dynamic programming, optimal control, nonlinear system andneural-networks-based control and their industrial applications.
